Explore the fascinating world of biodiversity at the Jardin Botanique in Geneva, from the time of Darwin to cutting-edge gene sequencing. Immerse yourself in an engaging workshop that delves into the classification of species and provides insight into how botanists have preserved and categorized samples throughout history. This botanical collection ranks among the six most important in the world, housing samples of existing and extinct species.

The Geneva Conservatory boasts an active research team that conducts sample collection expeditions spanning from Madagascar to the Brazilian rainforests. For this specially designed workshop for Elargis tes Horizons, you can step into the shoes of a curious botanist, assisting in the analysis and exploration of the diverse world of plants and the evolution of species.

We'll also be lucky enough to visit the molecular biology laboratory, which is normally closed to the public!
