Nuit de la science

Nuit de la science is a public event organised by the Musée d'histoire des sciences. It takes place every two years.

It has a double objective:

• allow families to dialogue directly with scientists and have them explain in a simple and playful way the latest on-going research.
• offer scientists to go to the public and explain their approaches.

It also serves as a lab to test different forms of scientific outreach and faciliates encounters between scientists and the public.
